" We stayed in the Nire Valley at Paddy and Olive O’Gorman’s smashing ‘AA 5-Diamond’ Glasha Farmhouse. It’s an ideal spot for a breakaway, plenty of room to relax both inside and out, very comfortable en-suite bedrooms with all facilities, indeed some (slightly more expensive) have jacuzzis!
The breakfast was fab...... how about a choice of courgette and walnut bread, home-made muffins, scones, cheeses, preserves, plums, strawberries, melon boats, home-made toasted muesli, porridge, cereals, California grapefruit filled with grapes, apple, mandarins and strawberries, the full Irish and hash browns, or the most delicious buttery scrambled eggs wrapped in smoked salmon garnished with nasturtiums - and more? And it’s all for £25 B & B." Sunday Independent - Sept 10, 2000 Table Talk/Lucinda O’Sullivan |
